“Depth Two” Belgrade premiere

Depth 2 Documentary Film “Depth Two” will be screened at the International documentary film festival Beldocs on May 13th at 21:00 at the Hall of the Belgrade Cultural Center, and on May 14th at 19:00 at Fontana Cinema.

“Depth Two” is a low-budget documentary about the mass grave discovered in Batajnica in 2001, in which the bodies of Kosovo Albanian civilians, who were killed during the war in Kosovo, were found. The film represents a combination of live testimonies and photographs of the places where these crimes were committed 17 years ago. In an attempt to identify, clarify and give voice to these stories, which have been deliberately covered by a veil of silence, the film directly appeals to the viewer’s perception, imagination and emotions.

The Author of the film is Ognjen Glavonić, and it was produced by Non-Aligned Films and the Humanitarian Law Center (HLC). “Depth Two” was premiered at the 66th Berlin Film Festival held in February 2016, and screened at festivals in Thessaloniki and in Wiesbaden. Prior to Belgrade screening, the film was aired in Pančevo, Subotica, Nis, Čačak, as well as in Priština/Prishtine.

The film represents a part of the Batajnica Memory Initiative.

A discussion will be organized following the screening of the film, in which Mr. Ognjen Glavonić, the Director, Ms. Sandra Orlović, Executive Director of the HLC, the Film’s Producer, and Mr. Saša Kosanović, a Journalist from Zagreb, will participate. The discussion will be moderated by Mr. Nikola Ljuca, a Film Director from Belgrade.

Tickets may be purchased at the Belgrade Cultural Center Ticket Store and at Fontana Cinema Ticket Store at the price of 250 RSD.
